IDIBELL hosts the ”Marie Sklodowska-Curie Individual Actions, 2018 call” Information Day


On May 10th, the “Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual actions, 2018 call” infoday was held in the facilities of Duran i Reynals Hospital. The session, which was co-organized by the Bellvitge Biomedical Research of Institute (IDIBELL), the Catalan Institute of Oncology (ICO) and the Agency for the Management of University and Research Grants (AGAUR), filled the auditorium with more than 100 attendees and welcomed the participation of the National Contact Points of Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Jesús Rojo (Madri + d) and Cristina Gracia (Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology, FECYT). In addition to introducing the Individual Fellowships (IF) actions, the COFUND MSCA Beatriu de Pinós (AGAUR) and TecnioSpring (ACCIÓ) actions and the EURAXESS research support service (AGAUR and FECYT) were also presented.



The infoday, kicked off by Dr. Gabriel Capellá – Director of IDIBELL – and Jordi Mas – executive director of AGAUR – offered a practical review on how to present a solid proposal for the 2018 call of the IF modality of MSCA Actions. The session included an interactive round table where Dr. Irene de Miguel (IDBAPS) and Dr. Lourdes Farré (ICO) gave their vision and practical advice as beneficiaries of these grants; and Dr. Clara Caminal (IRB Barcelona) shared her experience as an evaluator. Additionally, Jesús Rojo, Cristina Gracia and Aida Díaz had individual interviews with candidates to review proposals that will be sent in September. The day was held within the framework of the project “ICABELL – Internationalization of biomedical research in the Bellvitge Campus”. ICABELL is an initiative of IDIBELL that will contribute to the dynamization of the international activity of the Campus partners (Catalan Institute of Oncology, University Hospital of Bellvitge and Viladecans Hospital).
