The director of the Epigenetics and Cancer Biology Program at IDIBELL, professor at the University of Barcelona and ICREA researcher, Manel Esteller, has been awarded the first edition of ‘El Llobregat’ Awards.

The ceremony awards ceremony was held on January 19 at Feria Hotel de L’Hospitalet de Llobregat. The awards collected six different categories. The other winners were Jordi Évole journalist, actor and screenwriter Karra Elejalde, and entities Associació Educativa Ítaca, Parc agrari and FBA.

This first edition of

El Llobregat Awards wanted to recognize the work done by several persons, entities or associations working for the good functioning of the Baix Llobregat.
