The Board of trustees of IDIBELL has approved on Tuesday March 18th in a extraordinary meeting on appointment of Dr. Jaume Reventós as IDIBELL’s director.

Jaume Reventós (Barcelona, 1953) is a doctor (1977, UAB). He attended and received his specialty of Biochemistry (1982) in the MIR at the Vall d’Hebron Hospital in Barcelona. So far, Dr. Reventós was Head of the Biomedical Research and Translational Oncology, Vall d’Hebron Research Institute (VHIR).

The board of trustees of IDIBELL consists of the departments of Health and Economy and Knowledge of the Generalitat of Catalonia, the University Hospital of Bellvitge and the Hospital of Viladecans of the Catalan Institute of Health (ICS), the Catalan Institute of Oncology (ICO), the University of Barcelona (UB) and the city council of L’Hospitalet de Llobregat.
