The PhD thesis of Diego Viasus researcher at Infections of the respiratory tract and in Immunocomproimised Patients research group at IDIBELL has won two awards.
On one hand, has received the Extraordinary Doctorate Award from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Barcelona and on the other, the Gabriel Rufí Prize for the best thesis of infectious diseases of the Catalan Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases of the Academy of Sciences medical.
Viasus realized his PhD enjoying a predoctoral fellowship IDIBELL. It is entitled “Characteristics, course and treatment of a cohort of patients hospitalized with pandemic (H1N1) 2009” and was directed by Jordi Carratalà, head of the research group.
