Ruth de Diego gets a Starting Grant project of the European Research Council

Ruth de Diego, researcher from the UB and IDIBELL, has received a Starting Grant from the European Research Council (ERC) for his project “Tuning Attention during Language Learning”. This year, the ERC has funded research projects of excellence and highly innovative in any subject area of science and led by a researcher with between 2 and 7 years of experience, who agrees to perform the work in a European country. 536 young scientists leading research in Europe will receive funding of up to 2 million euros to continue their research projects during the next five years. Catalonia has received 14 of the 29 Starting Grants awarded in Spain. England, Germany and France head the ranking.
