University Hospital of Bellvitge has been awarded for the third consecutive year and fifth time during its history (2004, 2006, 2009, 2010 and 2011), as one of the best hospitals in Spain.

Top 20 award recognizes the best global management. It evaluates a very demanding activity, quality and efficiency indicators. This year, involving more than 160 hospitals across the state, divided into several categories depending on the size and complexity.

University Hospital of Bellvitge participates in the top flight, the National

and Regional Major Reference Hospital. This year also have been awarded:

Agrupación Sanitaria Sant Joan de Dios – Hospital Clínic de Barcelona, Hospital de Sant Pau – Fundación Puigvert, and Complejo Asistencial Universitario de Salamanca.
