Karina is an invited researcher of the Tobacco Control Unit within the EUREST-RISE Horizon Project.

Karina Mocacu holds a Master’s degree in Corporate Communications and Marketing from
Université Libre de Bruxelles and is currently the Communication Manager at the European
Network for Smoking and Tobacco Prevention (ENSP). With a background in Poli6cal Science at
the same university, she has been actively involved in different missions related to
communica6on, diplomacy, tobacco control, toxicology, cancer-related NGOs field and EU
projects throughout her professional journey. She is a very determined public health advocate
and her endeavors have prominently centered around advocating for youth and representing
their voice in the field of tobacco control.
